Little Free Library construction/artwork
Assist 7th & 8th Grade classes with construction and design for Little Free Libraries
Weekly workshops at the academy assisting with assembly of library structures kits that were supplied by myself. I measured, cut and later sealed the libraries. Students learned how to use various tools, measure things and understand the planning process involved in a team project.

NSAA supplied tabletops for artists to take and illustrate on as a fundraiser for the academy. Once completed, the tables were displayed at Bayshore Towne Center and later auctioned.

Create 3 Little Free Libraries that mimic neighborhood architecture. Colors to be determined by final location of install. Various sizes relative to proportions of building that they were inspired by. Constructed using ¾” plywood and latex paint.

Community Boxes (variation of Little Free Library) 16th Street Community Center, Boys & Girls
Club, St Martinis
Using the common dimensions for a standard little free library, adjust and create a “Community Box”. The unit is intended to serve as both a Little Free Library and a resource for community based communications. (flyers about health centers etc)
Worked with the Future Milwaukee team and the Boys & Girls club of Milwaukee to finish the exterior of each box. Recently followed up with repair and additional graphics. Dimensions: H28”xW20”xD14” Constructed using ¾” plywood and latex paint.

“Roll Out the Barrels”
Artists were given a Rain Barrel to apply the artwork they submitted. The program was developed
to heighten awareness about storm water runoff and waste water management. Upon completion the barrels would sell during an auction to raise money for Brown Deer Fund.

Review and select recipients for delivery of finished work. Design, construct and install
personalized four Cedar Benches and one Little Free Library. Benches were created using all cedar 2”x4” and 2”x6” boards. Measuring W55”xH36” (back height)xD22”. LFL‐H18”xW22”xD14” Constructed using ¾” plywood and latex paint.
